Hepatitis C is an infectious disease caused from the Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). Generally the one who is infected by the Hepatitis C do not display any kind of symptoms. It is seen after years of infection and then too the Hep C symptoms are very mild to observe and judge it out on time. The Hepatitis C symptoms either dont appear or appear after years which does not help the infectant to understand the disease immediately and thereby when the years are passed with the disease the health condition becomes very critical by that time. Generally the following hep C symptoms are found in the infected: (1) Diarrhea (2) Vomitting (3) Fatigue (4) Nausea (5) Uneasiness (6) Pain over the liver (7) Jaundice with the time (8) The urine is found with the very dark colour (9) The stool becomes very pale coloured one (10) Moreover contant vomiting and nausea reduces the level of water content into the body leading to the problem of dehydration. (11) Irritation through out the day (12) Lack of concentration (13) Weakness in the body (14) Headache Moreover Hep C symptoms are more noticed by the liver condition. As the time to the infection passes by the condition of the liver worsens more of. This condition of the liver leads to Cirrhosis. When the liver gets infected to Cirrhosis, the normal tissue of the liver is replaced by the fiborous tissue which does not permit the liver to execute its normal functions. The liver affected by the cirrhosis tends to be very similar to the liver of the who is addicted to the alcohol.
And once the liver is damaged with cirrhosis the more of the hep c symtoms are seen as blood emission through vomitting, more of the weight loss, constant itching in the skin, confusion, headache for the entire day, swelling over the belly and at times the swelling is found in legs or all over the body, lack of sound sleep, etc.
Most of the times one gets infected with the Hepatitis C virus through the blood transfusions. Persons who have in past got the blood tranfusions can get quick infection with the hepatitis c virus. And one thing that is to be noted is that as said there are either no or very mild hep C symptoms but still those who do not show the hep c symtpms can transmit their infections to the others and can cause hep c symptoms. |
